Modeltex : Retaining Wall Concrete 01 : Graffiti A retaining wall is a structure designed to hold or retain soil behind it in the landscape or to provide additional support to prevent soil erosion downhill. It's often used to create different levels or backgrounds on small surfaces, such as a diorama or model scene. This modern wall, constructed from poured concrete sections, is a frequent feature in today's civil engineering projects, such as tunnels and bridgeheads. These recently built concrete elements exhibit minimal weathering, with only rust streaks from the metal bolts used in construction remaining visible but the local street artist already found the spot to claim the walls with some graffiti. Material: This Modeltex sheet is premium printed on two sides (double). The thickness that differs from 10mm to 3mm depending on the scale you choose is realistic on scale for a heavy duty wall. HO 1/87; 10mm , N 1/160: 5mm. The sheets can be cut, scratched, weathered as you desire. Add holes, cracks or grasses to create your own custom wall. You can cut the sheet in half to create a longer wall section. Tip: for an even more realistic look add a layer of matt varnish spray after your customization.
