The VSP-DC is a food stabilization print which has been specially designed for the decentralized preparation of Dinamo Classic TM-H block cards.
The major problem with decentralized arrangement of the block cards is that the TM-H 3 requires different supply voltages. Besides the Ground a Vrs (driving voltage) also a 5V and a 12V DC. Because the 5V can collapse if the load is too high, it is advisable to place the power supply (IPM) in the vicinity (<1 meter) of the TM-H.
This is laborious in practice, as well as laying around 3 voltage types.
That is why the VSP-DC has been developed. With only the Vrs and the Ground from, for example, a switched Meanwell power supply or the IPM, you can feed your Dinamo Classic system with the VSP-DC. You offer the driving voltage on one of the two 2-way terminals (these are connected to each other) and on the 4-way terminal, in addition to the Driving voltage Vrs and the Ground, a stabilized 5V and 12V DC voltage appears. You can connect the Vrs and Gnd of the CD16 to the second 2-way terminal. This also gets the extension by using. the TM44 easier because the same driving voltage is present in the field.
To top it off, the VSP-DC comes standard with a 4-pole plug terminal so that you only have to plug it into the screw terminal of the TM-H. You can also choose to order a screw terminal via the options.
No heat sinks are required when using the print i.c.m. a TM-H. If you are going to use the print for heavy purposes where it will exceed the maximum heat of 120 degrees Celsius, we recommend that you provide the voltage regulators with heat sinks.
The voltage regulators can have a temperature between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius when used on a TM-H. These temperatures will not harm the components or the system. This is also not a problem for your model layout. This is normal with these components because it consumes energy.
If you do not like this, you can choose to place heat sinks around it. In addition, a strip of aluminum is sufficient which you attach to the fastening bolts of the controls 7805 and 7812.
