The LocBuffer in a 16V variant.
If your track voltage is smaller than 16V dc, it is advisable to use the 16V variant so that more capacity is possible. Moreover, the capacitors are considerably cheaper than the 25 V variant.
Tip for measuring your web tension:
You can ONLY measure a DCC track tension with adapted measuring equipment or an oscilloscope. But what many do not know is that the decoder has the electronics to function. You can therefore measure the track voltage on the V + and GND connections of the decoder. In the manual of the decoder you can read where you can find the V + and GND.

3 Tantalum capacitors 100uF 16V
1 Charging resistor 100 Ohm 0.25W
1 Discharge diode 1N4007
1 zener diode 16V
