The unique design of our thin sheets allows them to be effortlessly bent into tunnel portals, saving you and your customers time and effort.
The first centimetres of a tunnel wall are sometimes visible on a model railway. Painting them is often a time-consuming job. That's why we designed these thin sheets that are easy to bend around the tunnel portal. Glue them to the ribs of your tunnel portal and your tunnel is ready! Drive on.
The plates can be shortened lengthwise on both sides to achieve the right portal heights for single or double track, with or without overhead wires. And like all Modeltex panels, you can still notch them and paint them matt to your liking.
The new tunnel range consists of two new prints: an aged Brick 01 and a modern Concrete 01, currently available in two scales: H0 1:87, size A3 (297x420mm) and N 1:160, size A4 (210x297mm), both 1mm thick for easy bending.
Of course, they can also be used for applications other than tunnels. Be creative and. happy modelling!
