Uhlenbrock 63415 Polarity switch

The LocoNet switch module (63410) has a common positive pole for all connected devices. It is not possible to connect two motorized turnout drives or light signals with a common negative pole. Motorized point drives require an operating voltage with alternating polarity.

The solution is the polarity exchanger. Connected to the LocoNet switching module, it provides four outputs with a common
Negative pole available. Here you can connect two light signals.

The polarity exchanger is also a polarity change. Thus, the connection of two motorized turnout drives nothing stands in the way. Up to four polarity exchangers fit a LocoNet switch module.
