The radio system can be expanded by software. With the extensions, it is possible to control vehicles with corresponding radio receivers directly in DCC format via the radio master. The DCC command no longer needs to be transferred to the locomotive via the tracks. So z. B. the locomotives of the garden railway or the vehicles of the Faller Car System can be controlled directly. Another software extension will then make it possible to combine the system with Gamesontrack position.

The DAISY II hand controller displays all address and control information on the display. The speed is set via a rotary encoder. A pressure on the throttle changes the direction of travel. 20 special locomotive functions can be switched directly via the numeric keypad
. All others via the locomotive special function menu.

DAISY II can be disconnected from LocoNet at any time without losing the current driving condition of the locomotives and plugged in again at another location.

The radio module can be used to extend the DAISY II handheld controller to the DAISY II wireless handheld controller. For radio operation, the radio master is still required. The DAISY II wireless handheld controller is also suitable for operation on all control panels with LocoNet connection. It can be connected directly to the LocoNet, ie wired, or via radio with a radio master, which is connected to the central office via LocoNet. The range of the DAISY II wireless hand controller is up to 100 m (free field) to the next wireless master. Depending on the system configuration, between 4 and 20 DAISY II wireless handheld controllers can be used simultaneously. The DAISY II wireless handheld controller can be conveniently charged via the included charging adapter.
